written in 1958, by Jack Kerouac, The Dharma Bums is based on events that happened years after On The Road. many have criticized this book because of its simple writing and, as many say, its "poor story-telling". that's why for a few this is a sensitive book, it's not concerned about pleasing or amusing, it is only his life experiences in its crude forms.
